Fig. 3. Metascape pathway analysis of DMRs. Metascape pathway analysis was performed using DMRs that were hypo- and hypermethylated in their TSS or intragenic regions. The most significantly changed pathways were associated with leukocyte differentiation and regulation of leukocyte differentiation in DMRs from combining TSS and intragenic regions (A). Hypomethylated TSS or intragenic regions were most associated with leukocyte differentiation (B). Interestingly, the intragenic hypomethylated regions (C), but not TSS hypomethylated regions (D), were associated with T cell differentiation.
