(A) MDA-MB-231 and HCC1937 cells were seeded into 48-well-plates at a density of 1.6 ×10⁴ cells per well. After 24 hours of incubation, the cells were exposed to increasing concentrations (10, 25, 50, or 100 μM) of genistein for 72 hours. Then, the cells were incubated with 0.5 mg/mL of MTT in media for additional 3 hours, and the absorbance was measured at 570 nm. (B) The same procedure was repeated with scrambled siRNA in BRCA1-siRNA transfected MDA-MB-231 cells.
