Fig. 5. Effects of diallyl trisulfide (DATS) on the lip-opolysaccharide (LPS)-induced expression of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and myeloid differentiation gene 88 (Myd88) in BV2 micro-glial cells. The cells were treated with 100 ng/mL LPS for the indicated times (A) or pretreated with the indicated concentrations of DATS for 1 hour prior to LPS treatment for 6 hours (B). The total proteins were prepared for Western blot analysis using anti-TLR4 and anti-Myd88 antibodies and an enhanced chemiluminescence (ECL) detection system. Actin was used as the internal control.
